Why the Azores?

Aside from their beautiful landscapes, rich culture, delicious home-grown food, and friendly people, the Azores are a part of Matt's heritage. His mother, Judy Parks' family the Barbozas, immigrated to Massachusetts from the Azores two generations ago. They're from a small town in São Miguel called Pedreira, which we had a chance to visit in February. We even ran into these strapping gents who had grown up with some of Matt's family members!
